Jeff Rasley
Babies'
Orphanage
This is one of the most rewarding projects, and we will be running it throughout the summer, lasting for three hours. The kids in the centre are aged between 6 months and 4 years, most of them have either been abandoned by poor families or are the result of “illegal” relationships. The main role of the volunteers on this project is to help the nurses with the babies, playing, kissing and hugging, so be ready to discover your sensitive side!
Young Offenders Institution
A very interesting project, the volunteers will participate in indoor games and activities with girls under the age of 18. These girls are sent to the centre by court order and follow a serious rehabilitation programme. The main purpose of our activities with them is to introduce an element of joy and delight, to help them regain confidence in themselves and society.
Rural
Kindergartens
We will be running projects in a couple of different kindergartens in the region of Marrakesh and the surrounding areas. The projects in rural areas are always excellent, as volunteers get the opportunity to take part in indoor activities (painting, colouring, handicrafts etc.) and outdoor games. The kids in these kindergartens are aged 4/8; they’re very active and enjoy playing with volunteers.

Summer Camps
Project to be confirmed.
Children's Hospitals
One of our most rewarding projects. This will be run weekly all summer long. The main role of volunteers on this project is to help the kids get over their illnesses, introducing a positive atmosphere with fun games and activities.
Painting Primary Schools
We have three confirmed primary schools so far: one at the heart of the Medina of Marrakesh, and two in rural areas outside Marrakesh. The volunteers will be painting the walls and the classrooms of these schools. We will provide you with ideas and designs for the paintings, as well as encouraging you to put forward your own ideas.
Teaching Projects
A good opportunity for volunteers to evaluate their teaching skills, brush up on their French and pick up some Arabic phrases to use in the Souks.
