Night In the Desert
An overnight excursion that involves camel trekking through the desert and sand dunes, just before sunset. Spend the night gazing at the stars after experiencing a traditional Berber meal and entertainment around a fire.
Mount Toubkal
A breathtaking experience that will test your physical and mental strength. A two-day excursion to the top of the highest mountain in Northern Africa. Wrap up warm, as it can get very cold up there!
Ouzoud Waterfalls
A day trip to the Ouzoud village located within the Atlas Mountains, where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the 110m high waterfall! This is a great day out, where you can go for a swim and shower off under the mini-waterfalls located downstream.

Essaouira
Escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh via a 2-hour coach or minibus journey to the windy and sleepy city of Essaouira. Normally cooler than Marrakesh in the summer months, this is your chance to cool down. Have a go at surfing and get lost in the old medina. You can make a day trip of it, or even sleep over to get the most out of the experience.
Jemaa el-Fnaa
The heart of Marrakesh! Worth visiting by day and night, within just minutes’ walking distance of the riad, Jemaa el-Fnaa offers everything you might expect from Morocco and more. Storytellers, snake charmers, food stalls - the lot! Maybe you could even try fishing for soft-drink bottles -->

Waterparks
Cool off in the many pools and waterparks located in and around Marrakesh. Getting to these should be really easy by hiring a 3 seater 'Petite Taxi’, which should cost around £1-£2 each.
Quad Biking
Escape Marrakesh through the deserts and Atlas Mountains in style via quad biking. A day’s excursion allows you to whizz around dirt tracks and mountain terrain in a group.

Cooking Workshops
Starting uni next September, or moving into your second year house after living off takeaways for a year? Show off your newly acquired cooking skills to your flat mates! We'll be running cooking workshops, so you can learn how to cook delicious Moroccan food, praised worldwide.
Agadir
A coastal city two hours south of Marrakesh, home to Paradise Valley, a beautiful palm-lined gorge, with many opportunities to jump off the rocks into the water. Prepare to have your breath taken once you reach the end of the valley, where you will be met with a spectacular sight.

And Even More!
There is loads more that you can do and see in Morocco during your spare time, and the best thing is that most excursions are really affordable!!
